Snap is a social donation platform that enables our band to receive donations from our networks, communities, and supporters. Every year we ask students to participate in this fundraiser to help keep our band program alive, but this year, we need additional funds to cover an unanticipated increase in costs for our Championship Trip to Southern California, including additional transportation cost of $10,000+ to take our band an extra 50 miles to and from the new WBA Championship venue.
Students are asked to provide 20 or more email addresses of their families and friends, and Snap will reach out to ask the supporters to consider donating to our band. Here are some benefits of Snap:
The payments are completely confidential and secure, and information will not be stored on the servers after the transactions.
Donations are tax-deductible - the tax ID will be included in the receipts.
Supporters can share the fundraiser on social media including Facebook, Messenger, and Twitter.
Supporters can send words of encouragement to students with their donations!
It helps ease the burden of fundraising for our band directors who are already busy enough directing our band, and parent volunteers who are fundraising through other means.
