Charms
Charms is a web-based system our staff use to update the calendar and communicate with students and families. Make sure you complete Registration so that your contact info is in the system to receive messages via Charms.
For your convenience, events from the Charms master calendar are also listed on separate Google calendars for each ensemble. (Charms has the master calendar that is directly maintained by AVHS music staff.)

To sync Charms calendar with Apple iOS devices:
Go to Settings:
Tap Mail > Contacts > Calendars.
From Accounts, tap Add Account.
At the Add Account screen, tap Other.
From Calendars, tap Add Subscribed Calendar.
For the Server value, enter the URL of the public calendar:
https://www.charmsoffice.com/charms/calsync.asp?s=AVHSBandTap Next in the upper right corner.
It will verify the server and then show a subscription page. Change the description if you like.
Tap Save to save the subscription.
To sync Charms calendar with Android devices:
(you must use your Google account and have a Google calendar created)
In your Google calendar on a real computer:
Under Other Calendars, click Add.
Select Add by URL.
Enter the following URL:
https://www.charmsoffice.com/charms/calsync.asp?s=AVHSBandClick Add Calendar.
Google will begin to sync your calendar, and it will appear on the screen.
Click Settings.
Change the long name of the new calendar to something you will remember, such as “Charms Calendar.”
Your phone should automatically be set to sync with your Google calendar.
On your phone: Tap Calendar, and then bring up the settings for the calendar. Tap Calendar Sync. You should see your Google account listed already. Make sure Auto-Sync is checked.
