How Can I Help?
Everyone in AFM is a volunteer. AFM supports more than a dozen ensembles, two music directors and a non-profit corporation (AFM). We coordinate fundraising, haul equipment, fit uniforms, cook, serve, drive, organize rosters, bookkeep, arrange travel, run festivals, and the list goes on. Nearly 350 music students at Amador receive the benefit of this support. If you have any amount of time (no amount is too small) and a desire to help one of the best music programs in all of California, then just ask "How Can I Help?"
Some of the roles the volunteers play behind the scenes are more visible than others, but they all are essential in preparing our students for their performances. Whether your student’s passion is Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Winter Percussion or Colorguard, you have the opportunity to help our youth in what will be some of the most memorable activities and growing experiences of their time at AVHS. Listed below is information that may help you decide how you can best contribute.
