ABOUT REGISTRATION

Parents of Amador Valley Marching Band and Color Guard Students will be required to perform two registrations for their students. Both are mandatory and both should be performed by a parent or legal guardian.

 1.  AVHS WALK-THROUGH REGISTRATION

The AVHS walk-through registration is required by the High School/District and should be performed by a parent without their Band student. The following link will provide the information parents will need to prepare for the AVHS Walk-through.

AVHS Walk through Registration 2015-2016

Important:  Please obtain your student's signature on the "registration signature page" prior to attending.  Also, be sure to talk with your student about available purchases such as the yearbook, the ASB card, class T-shirts, parking passes, etc.   Since Band students will not be attending the AVHS Walk-through registration with their parents, a special time has been arranged for Band students to have their pictures taken and ID cards created.

      Grades 9 and 10          Monday  8/24, 8:00-9:00am

      Grades 11 and 12        Monday  8/24  9:00-10:00am

Students should bring their completed photo order form and their receipt for ASB (if purchased) to the small gym.  The photos will be taken in the wrestling area, a separate room off the Small gym (behind Amador Theater.) Students will enter through the side facing the Main office and step up stairs (not the entrance using the ramp).

Note:  If you feel strongly that your student should attend the AVHS Walk-through with you, please plan on doing so at a time that does not conflict with Band camp (even if the walk-through time slot is different from the one requested by the school) or plan to attend the makeup registration on August 24th.  Your student should not miss important rehearsal time in order to attend the AVHS Walk-through.

2.  BAND AND COLOR GUARD REGISTRATION

The Band and Color Guard registration is required in order for your student to participate in the 2015-16 Program.   The Band and Color Guard registration should be performed by a parent or legal guardian and will take place in the AVHS Choir room on the following dates.
