Amador Valley H.S. Music

The Amador Valley High School Music Program consists of five Concert Bands – two Wind Ensembles,  Wind Syphonies, and Symphonic Band.  The Amador Valley Music program also includes three Jazz Bands (Jazz A, Jazz B, and Workshop), two Orchestras and several Choir ensembles, including Chamber Choir, Concert Choir, Women's Choir, Mixed Vocal Ensemble and Men's Ensemble.  The Guard and Percussion units perform in two Winterguards and Winter Percussion units.

Matthew Fell

Matthew Fell did his undergraduate studies at the BIOLA University Conservatory of Music where he received a BM in Music Education as well as Trombone Performance. During his time at BIOLA Mr. Fell studied conducting under Dr. Robert Feller and trombone with Dave Stetson of the Pacific Symphony.

After student teaching at Kennedy High School he served as the Associate Director of Music at Downey High School where he taught band and choir for five years.

In 2013 Mr. Fell received a Master’s degree in Conducting from the American Band College of Sam Houston State University.

He is thrilled to be part of the wonderful music community at Amador Valley High School, working with the Marching Band, Concert Bands, and Jazz Workshop.

In the mornings Mr. Fell works with the 6th and 7th graders at Harvest Park Middle School with Mr. Perazzo.

Mr. Fell has been happily married to his best friend, Jenna, since 2006 and they have two wonderful boys named Silas and Calvin..
