The Magic of Music is THE annual fundraising event for the Amador Friends of Music. It replaces many smaller fundraisers (candy sales, car washes, etc.) with one Fun night with far greater rewards! It includes an upscale dinner, dancing, silent auction, live auction, games, and excellent musical entertainment provided by our own students! Over 6 years, the Magic of Music has raised more than $213,000 to support the music program at Amador Valley High School.

Help Needed: MoM Donations Coordinator |

The Magic of Music team is in need of a Donations Coordinator. You will oversee the process of requesting, receiving and recording donations. Other MoM volunteers will assist you, and the entire AFM membership will be asked to help with the solicitation of donations. Your job will be to lead the effort, set process, track progress, encourage and guide. This position would be great to share with a friend.

New for the Magic of Music 2011 – a ‘Wine Pull!" What is it? Donated bottles of wine will be placed into sleeves bottoms-up, and our guests will purchase raffle tickets entitling them to pull bottles of wine. The fun is in discovering which wine you’ve won, and, some of the bottles will have prizes attached to them!
Sher will be happy to contact anyone you put her in touch with, and she will arrange a convenient pick up/drop off time for your donation. Each donor will be recognized by having their name placed on the bottles. Donation forms are available for tax purposes.
