Concert Bands

The five concert bands at Amador are the cornerstone of the Amador Valley H.S. band program: Wind Ensemble I, Wind Ensemble II, two Wind Symphonies and Symphonic Band.

Each group prepares challenging and dynamic wind literature in concert and contest, performing in winter and spring concerts, CMEA band festival, the Chabot Wind Band Festival, PUSD district band festival and other concerts.

Wind Ensemble I has performed twice at the State Music Conference and performed at the Midwest Clinic in 2014.

Members of all bands participate in solo and ensemble festival, chamber music performances as well as earn spots in all-state and all-region honors bands.
