Concert Bands

The five concert bands at Amador are the cornerstone of the Amador Valley High School band program: Wind Ensemble I, Wind Ensemble II, Wind Symphony Purple, Wind Symphony Gold and Symphonic Band.

Each group prepares challenging and dynamic wind literature in concert and contest, performing in a variety of festivals and concerts.

Wind Ensemble I has performed twice at the state music conference and performed at the Midwest Clinic in 2013. The combined Wind Ensembles were invited to perform in April 2018 at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Members of all bands participate in solo and ensemble festival, chamber music performances as well as earn spots in all-state and all-region honors bands.
